Step 2: Lazy girls guide to organizing coupons

I have to admit, I am very lazy when it comes to organizing my coupons. Trust me, I have tried a few different ways. At first I would clip every single coupon in the circular and put each one in individual baseball card holder sheets…by category! It was a way too much to keep up with! If you are currently using this method successfully, you are my idol.

I think keeping it a little more simple is the way to go for me, let me know if you agree 🙂

  • You will need a 1 1/2 inch to 2 inch  3 ring binder.
  • Sheet protectors
  • A permanent marker

Every sunday I take out my circulars, write down the date on the cover, and put each insert (red plum, smart source, and proctor & gamble coupons) in separate sheet protectors.

*If you are only on planning to keep the beauty related coupons then I suggest flipping through the inserts to remove the other coupons (food, pet, baby) etc. Give them away to someone if you can  🙂

Thats it! Simple Right?

I will be writing monthly posts when its time to get rid of some of the inserts that have expired!
